Hi! Telling lies, will that pull down your score? God no! you may wanna tell lies, you may wanna stretch the truth; on a completely different note, though, I’ve got legitimate reasons to talk you out of it.
Well, for one thing, it requires imagination; you have to rack your brains over it, so it takes a lot out of you. For another, you really do not have to. So for instance, if you were asked about your favorite movie; What if you don’t have one? You don’t have to really stretch the truth. Admit it. Say admittedly, I don’t have one. I’ve never gone to any movies. I even vaguely remember the last one I, for instance, got to catch. That’s a lot better than, you know, doing a lot of thinking, trying to say something, plucking something out of thin air. That takes a lot of time, and that definitely hurts your fluency.
